About Me
With getting on with the business of life, I too often become dulled to my surroundings. I yearn to experience again the delight of when I first moved to Brighton.
Things like, revelling in the cries of seagulls and their antics. Watching people going about enjoying Brighton Seafront.
When I draw and paint I feel I get this back, as I gaze at what I'm trying to depict on paper. My Dad told me that Brighton has been the inspiration for such seaside resorts as Cannes, Nice and Rio de Janeiro. They are all apparently modelled on Brighton in having fine houses looking out at the sea. There is enough here to keep me painting for a long time!
